PROHIBITION SIGNS

Regulatory PROHIBITION signs indicate that an ACTION IS NOT
                                           PERMITTED.
Regulatory PROHIBITION signs must comply with the requirements of
AS1319-1994 and must incorporate symbols to comply with AS 2342.
Where no suitable symbol is available a worded sign can be used in
                                        the first instance.
PROHIBITION signs are white with a red annulus with a diagonal red
slash over a black symbol depicting the prohibited action. Signs may
also include supporting black text displayed beneath the selected
                                      symbol.
