Barricades
For safety reasons it is often necessary to demarcate areas to secure it
pending the completion of a particular activity.
Where short-term activities are involved it may be acceptable to
adopt a simple/portable solution such as a plastic ‘A’ frame, standard
barricade tape, cones, bunting, plastic chain or similar options.
Tapes
For a more permanent (mainly indoor) situations, an appropriate
solution may be to identify the area with self adhesive, non slip floor
tape.
A variety of tapes are available for identifying underground facilities.
These can be detectable or non detectable and are colour coded to INDEX
identify specific utilities.
