HAzCHEM AND DANGEROUS GOODS

































































                                           Dangerous goods must be clearly identified and labelled while
                                           being transported or stored in a facility.
                                          Dangerous goods are substances (liquids, gases or solids) that can
                                          harm people, other living organisms, properties or the environment.
                                         They are commonly known as HazMat. Dangerous goods symbols
                                         provide visual information on DG classes to emergency services
                                        personnel in the event of an emergency.
                                        Hazchem is a warning plate system used for transporting hazardous
                                       substances or on storage facilities. The system is used in Australia,
                                       New zealand, Malaysia and United Kingdom. It gives the Emergency
                                      Action Code (EAC) for fire brigade to determine the course of action
                                     if there’s an accident.
                                     Hartac manufactures a whole range of hazardous goods class labels,
                                    placards and chemical information panels to meet the specifications
                                    of the Australian Dangerous Goods Code.
